Director of Operations – Chief Pool Manager
Hours: 35-40 hours per week during season, Hours vary off-season
Immediate Supervisor: President, Board of Directors
Responsibilities:
Provide direction and guidance in the operation and management of MHSTC with and through the Board of Directors. This responsibility includes but is not limited to:
- Staff
- Hiring, training, supervising and evaluating and addressing concerns as needed.
- Attend all staff meetings and training
- Schedule hours for all staff in accordance with department requirements. ie – Lifeguards, maintenance, front desk, concessions and assistant managers.
- Perform end of season employee evaluations.
- Attend, or have representation of written reports if unable to attend, at all Board Meetings.
- Oversee and participate in Pre (April-May) and Post Opening/Closing (September) of Club.
- Maintain proper chemical balance in both pools in accordance with Clermont County Board of Health regulations.
- Oversee maintenance of all Club Facilities, including pools, clubhouse, parking lot, etc.
- Total all employee time cards, prepare payroll report and fax to Paycor every two weeks.
- Manage Supplies.
- Must be on duty and close the Club during all home swim meets.
- Have management representation at after hour swim parties.
- Maintain an open line of communication between assistant managers to facilitate smooth transition from one shift to another.
- Ensure that the public is handled effectively and with consideration using good public relations skills.
- Oversee all programs and activities, including but not limited to: swim team, dive team, tennis teams, coaches, lessons, and socials.
